Academic Society for Competition Law – ASCOLA

Since 2010, Juan David has been part of the Academic Society for Competition Law – ASCOLA, an academic association that seeks to promote the development and research of competition law at a national and international level. ASCOLA brings together hundreds of researchers and academics from all continents who focus on competition law, economics and policy.

Since November 2019 Juan David Gutiérrez direct the regional chapter of ASCOLA in Latin America and the Caribbean. During 2020, within the framework of the chapter’s academic activities, he organized 21 online events: 13 seminars, 4 colloquia and 4 seminars of the economic competence seedbed. On average, the events had approximately 50 attendees (minimum 30 and maximum 150). All videos of the chapter’s events are available on the chapter’s YouTube channel.
